
Dr. Dallas Lea is the principal partner of Lea Medical Partners, LLC and the Medical Director of Lea Medical Therapies in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a nationally recognized leader in spinal cord injury medicine and spasticity management.
Dr. Lea is widely regarded as an expert in the use of Botox® and Xeomin® for the treatment of spasticity resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis. He is also a pioneer in the integration of advanced imaging technology, including ultrasound guidance, to improve the precision and effectiveness of injection therapies for spasticity, cervical dystonia, sialorrhea, and bruxism.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lea has established spasticity programs at major institutions in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Texas. His center participates in the Adult Spasticity International Registry on Botox® Treatment Study (ASPIRE), where he serves as Principal Investigator.
A sought-after speaker and educator, Dr. Lea has trained more than 200 physicians in the United States and internationally in ultrasound-guided injection techniques. His research collaborations include work with the National Institutes of Health and the University of Pittsburgh’s Falk Center, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Lea earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency and fellowship training in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injury medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
